February 2012 - Dr. Boultbee and animal welfare team provide assistance in Mulege, Mexico

Dr. Ashley Boultbee, owner of Kingsdale Animal Hospital, joined a six-member team in Mulege Mexico operating a sterilization and vaccination clinic with Patrons of Animal Welfare (PAW), under the auspices of the Canadian Animal Assistance Team (CAAT).

The CAAT team treated over 130 animals and performed a total of 78 surgeries.

Over 91% of the work was performed on animals owned by Mexican families who otherwise would not have the opportunity to get their pets spayed or neutered.

The CAAT team also performed tumour removals, repaired fractures, administered vaccines and treated many animals with external parasites.
